JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng’s Education Department has welcomed the arrest of a 20-year old grade 11 pupil.
It’s alleged he stabbed to death a fellow pupil outside Forest High School in Johannesburg.
Another 18-year-old and a 15-year-old were also wounded.
The dead pupil’s mother couldn’t contain her grief as she went to identify the lifeless body.
For the Gauteng Education Department, this has become a common sight.
MEC Panyaza Lesufi said he is aware of challenges at this particular school.
Mid-year exams at the school have been suspended for now.
