Pupil arrested for fatal stabbing

JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng’s Education Department has welcomed the arrest of a 20-year old grade 11 pupil.

It’s alleged he stabbed to death a fellow pupil outside Forest High School in Johannesburg.

Another 18-year-old and a 15-year-old were also wounded.

The dead pupil’s mother couldn’t contain her grief as she went to identify the lifeless body.

For the Gauteng Education Department, this has become a common sight.

MEC Panyaza Lesufi said he is aware of challenges at this particular school.

Mid-year exams at the school have been suspended for now.
