WITBANK – Police have launched a manhunt after a colonel was murdered in his driveway on Tuesday night.
Fana Maseko was gunned down in eMalahleni in Mpumalanga.
Police say the officer was killed by two gunmen.
Maseko died on the scene.
The suspects fled without taking any of his belongings.
National Police Commissioner General Khehla Sithole has instructed officers to find the perpetrators within 72 hours.
The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage.
